LACROSSE AND TENNIS CANCELLED

The DCAC announced recently that the lacrosse and tennis schedules for this spring had been cancelled because of the revision of the academic calendar. However, both the track and golf teams will participate in intercollegiate competition. The track team will enter the Heptagonal Meet at Philadelphia on May 8, while the golf team will travel to Princeton for the Intercollegiates on May 8 and 9.

Don Burnham, Dartmouth's Phi Bete track captain and ace miler, added his third College record last month as he easily won the two-mile run in an interclass track meet held in the gym. Burnham covered the two-mile course in 9:09.5, thus shattering the old mark of 9:31.8 set by Sid Bull in 1938. The Indian ace also holds the College record for the 880 with the time of 1:53.5, and the mile record of 4:10.6.
