News of '93 is scarce, so I will fill in by stating that your secretary's grandson John Pennell Aborn of Barrington, R.I., is enrolled at Providence Country Day School; his granddaughter Virginia Van Deusen of Wilmette, Ill., is engaged to be married as soon as this- damnable war is over. Her father, Arthur Stowe Van Deusen Jr., is a lieutenant in the Navy in this present war. He was a lieutenant in the last war.

"Jon" Child writes that his daughter Marjorie is well again and will resume her teaching in the High School at Norwalk, Conn., where "Jon" will be this winter.
