Being so far away from New England and being a poor correspondent causes these notes to be meager, but we have had letters from a few classmates recently, notably Pelton, Bowers, "Jon" Child and Sam Hunt.
"Jon" Child writes that after planning to be at Hanover for the Cornell game, his doctor sent him to the hospital for treatment, during which time a blood clot developed and he was in the hospital eight weeks. He believes he has made a successful recovery.
Mrs. Winthrop Porter Abbott of Greenfield has been very helpful in furnishing information regarding Willis Sparhawk whose obituary appears in this issue, for which we thank her.
