THE WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION is keeping the home fires burning. Our attendance at meetings in Milwaukee averages about twenty men. We had a dinner at the Wisconsin Club on May 25th. Lt. Tom Wollaeger literally swept in and out on us—but we were glad to see him for those few minutes. He's been on the desert so long that we suspect he won't even allow a sand box in his back yard after the war.

At the banquet we planned a picnic—which was held June 25 at a log cabin (it's a honey) built in prewar days by Ed. Luedke and Bob Manegold. There we had a little baseball, lots of sunburn, rest, Milwaukee beer, and hamburgers.

We're proud to have Cliff Randall re-elected to the Alumni Council. Flash! Our president of the Wisconsin Alumni Association and former assistant football coach at Dartmouth, Jack Ryan 11, has just been elected president of the Milwaukee School Board. And that makes us happy, too.
