With great sorrow we learned recently that George Slusser was killed in action over the Ryukyu Islands last June.

Many well-deserved honors have been coming to Meryll Frost in the recent months. He was awarded the honor of "most courageous athlete of 1945" by the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association, was picked as the outstanding layer to appear in the Yale Bowl during the 1945 season, was picked on the allNew England team, starred in the East-West game in San Francisco on New Year's day. He has been chosen as a vice president of the Air Force Association, recently organized and headed by General Doolittle. Once again, our congratulations, Frostie.

The list of '44s back in Hanover steadily mounts and now includes: Bob Blair, JoeDrummey, Charlie Fox, Win Martin, RogClark, Dan Donovan, and Jack Downs. Among those back with wives are Ted Colwell, Charlie Martus, and Phil Penberthy.

A couple of service promotions to be recorded are those of Lt. Bill Fead and Lt. BradKing Johnny Peacock is working for a Hawaiian airlines company Recently of the Dartmouth's in Town Again list in the Hanover Inn have been Boge Bogart, BillTrease, John Chamberlain, Dave Patterson,Fred Campbell, Art Saul, Jim Locke, DickBarry, Mac MacFarland, Dick Rondeau,Snooky Hughes, and Jack Riley; Jack and Mrs. Mac Donald, John Lovewell and wife, Charlie Mottola and wife, Tom Streeter, and Walt Prosser Walt Olin is planning to return to Hanover in September with his wife. Sam Barnes is out of the Navy now.

Hearts and Flowers: Harry Grieger and Virginia Wallace of Hamden, Conn., were married in January. Arthur Allen is engaged to marry Barbara Johnson of Dedham, Mass. Charlie Pierce and Eloise Vail of Ossining, N. Y., and Connecticut College for Women are engaged. Jack McManus has signified his intentions with Margaret Hahesy of Arlington, Mass., and Regis College. Warren Sullivan and Madeline Schmidt of Pelham Manor and Skidmore round out the list.
