Faculty Promotion

JOEL W. EGERER. who returned to the English Department at the start of the March term after leave for war service, has been promoted from Instructor to Assistant Professor of English. Professor Egerer left the College in 1942 and with the rank of First Lieutenant in the Marine Corps Reserve was assigned to aviation administration. At the time of his discharge in 1944 he was a Captain. During the past two years he has taught English at the University of Minnesota and at Amherst.
