THE LOCAL WORLD STUDENT Service Fund Drive, concluded last month, achieved a fund total of $3,179, according to Norman D. Rian, faculty advisor of the drive. Although the quota for Dartmouth was $5,000, Mr. Rian said that the individual per capita contributions were satisfac torily high.
In a break-down of the undergraduate body, it was found that 75% of the Naval Unit contributed, while 53% of the civilian students gave funds. Proceeds of the drive were sent to Geneva, Switzerland, where the World Student Council will use the money to rehabilitate the warexhausted students of Europe.
