This is the natal month of the Secretary who felicitates also November born Boston,Galusha, Martin, Surrey and Woodman.

More news about the Kendalls whom the Secretary saw again, September 5, at their home in Kennebunk Beach when he was told about a very enjoyable house party they gave to '9gers the previous week-end. Attending were "Cush," his sister and his friend Florence, George Clark, Ernest and Mrs. Silver, "Doc"and Blanche Hawkes and Dave and Mrs.Parker. The Secretary unfortunately missed it because he had returned from his home in Ogunquit to New York. Warren appeared to have improved in health and planned to en- gage, in part at least, in some of his former business activities.

"Benny" (Louis Benezet, Sr.) who retired as Professor of Education at Dartmouth last June, took hold of academic reins again and is teach- ing at Bradley University in his old home town of Peoria, Illinois. His courses comprise one in history "Europe from 1870 to 1920," one in sociology "The Newer Americans and Their Background," and one in education "The Changing Curriculum." He is also Director of Orientation of the Freshman class and Adviser to the President on Curriculum Revision. He purchased a house quite near the campus and only two blocks from his father's old home which is now known as Comstock Hall, the administration building of the University.

Lute Oak.es, who has been in Hanover twice this year and hoped to be there again this fall, said he had a wonderful time last sum- mer at the Oyster Harbor Club at Oysterville on Cape Cod. That is the summer retreat of Tim Lynch and other nabobs. Lute and Tim played golf with two MIT fellows and took three out of four games. Lute modestly stated "Tim is exceptionally good at this game."

George Huckins was busy for four months prior to September on the construction of a bridge over the Boston & Maine tracks at Manchester, N. H.

The Winchesters spent the summer at their camp at Limekiln Lake near Inlet, N. Y. In- cidentally, Phil reports that '99's record in the Alumni Funds returns is better than in the published list in which one contribution was omitted. In the final checkup the total was 5i823.64, only $6.34 short of the class quota of $lB3O. How does he do it? Onlv a few can tell.

Remember our 50th next commencement time at Hanover. Save your shekels and your strength for it. Plans are in progress for a grand time—but not too arduous.

How're yer all doin'? Write right now and tell the Secretary. By the way, has anyone heard from or about Baldwin?
