December birthday greetings to Joe Hobbs, Rev. Montie Fuller, Fred Crolius, and EdAllen.
In addition to Louis Benezet's activities at Jackson College, Hawaii, as noted in our November items, Louis has been compiling a history of the Hawaii Rotary Club, of which he is a member. He came on in June to see son Louis at Colorado College, and to renew friendships there. He had thought that he might drop in on us at our 57th Roundup at Hanover last June, but had to change his plans. Sorry that he didn't get there. '99 now has 30 living members, with 20 wives, 55 widows, about 180 children, besides all the great-grandchildren.
The grim reaper has again passed our way. Edward L. Nye, our oldest member, died September 9. Further details will appear in "In Memoriam."
