Your local cinema will never show "The Secret Life of Pete Fitzherbert"-but this epic had an auspicious premiere at the '36 dinner at the N. Y. Dartmouth Club, the week before Christmas. The technicolor opus, otherwise known as our 10th Reunion movies, was filmed by Andy Schmidt. It contains beautiful shots of Hanover, familiar landmarks and, of course, familiar faces; and it covers the highlights of that now famous weekend. But, after all is said and done, that Fitzherbert guy is the star—though we are certain neither Andy nor Pete himself intended it to be that way. The producer and the star just happened to be around when—and wherever—things were going on. Eventually, the reels will be edited, captions added, etc. In the meantime, they are available for showing to other '36 groups. All you need is a 16 mm. projector (no sound equipment necessary .... the gallery will provide the effects), enough of a gang to warrant shipping the films, and a place to show them. We await your reservations, gentlemen.
Getting back to that N. Y. dinner—DickVail organized the affair and did a fine job of getting '36 up and out. Seated around the table were Ed Brooks, Dink Gidney, Bob Bright,Herb Beskind, Boyce Price, Dick Jewell, PepMintz, Bill McNulty, Gil Balkam, WaltMosenthal, Jack Smith, Chuck Sims, DaveFox, Art Wasserman, Pinky Conklin, SpenceJohnson, Bob Prentice (who was able toborrow General Foods' projector and screen),Jacko Morrison, Bob Button, Art Levin, GeneAnspach, Dick Vail, Ray Reitman, Bob Howland, Vic Sabary (who came the greatest distance—from Trenton, N. J.) and your correspondent. Twenty-six in all—with many whocouldn't make it.
Next event in N. Y.—Cocktail Party .... informal Friday, February 27, 5 to 7-or-so .... at the Dartmouth Club .... bring your wife, fiancee or quote friend unquote.

In case some of you have been wondering just why Macy's is the miracle on 34th Street, here's a possible clue: Bill Ferguson is assistant superintendent of the fourth, fifth and sixth floors.
Our apologies to Jerry King—on behalf of the MAGAZINE'S type-setter—for an erratum in the December column. If you read down that far, you saw, "After a summer of gold-forbusiness-and-pleasure, he's back in business again full-time." As we wrote it, the phrase was "golf-for-business-etcetera." But maybe Jerry's game is so good he can cash in on it.
Bax Fullerton has been promoted to District Manager for Warner & Swasey for the southern U. S. His headquarters are in Atlanta.
Fragmentary info department: Dick Taylor's third child was born around Christmas. Give us the vital statistics, Dick..
Bob Keeler was in from Cincinnati recently. It is reported through usually reliable sources, that Bob's main pre occupation is boosting Taft for the White House spot. Speculation from that same source figures Bob Morris doing the same thing on the West Coast for Wallace. We await confirmation; and since this is a free press, we invite some mud- or bouquet-slinging from Keeler or Morris or anyone else who has some political messages.
Just one more plug for that New York cocktail party on Feb. 27—all of you in and around the big town, try to make it. And what about some of you bozos in other parts getting together over the teacups?
