The mystery surrounding Courtes MaylandRussell, who was better known to the class as Peacham, has been solved. The Massachusetts Department of Mental Diseases has given the information that he died at the Worcester State Hospital on December 31, 1934.

Fred Bennis arrived back in Sullivan, Maine, about May 1, for the summer. When this is' sue of the MAGAZINE is received by the class the grand 50-Year Reunion will be a thing of the past with only pleasant memories remaining. As the class notes for this issue are filed before May 10 no further comment about the reunion will now be made. It will be reported in the July issue of the MAGAZINE.

These will be the last class notes prepared for the MAGAZINE by your present secretary. He has informed the nominating committee of the class that he will end his service as secretary and treasurer this year at the class meeting to be held at the reunion. He has been on most reunion committees since 1902, has served as Class Agent, and, upon the death of PhilPatey in June, 1945, he, as alternate secretary took over the position of secretary. He now feels that he has done his share for the class and that some other member of the class should now take over the duties. For his successor he would bespeak better cooperation from most members of the class in advising him about themselves and their families and of otner classmates about whom he has heard some news. It is well appreciated that the news items about the members of the class have been scanty but that is due to no fault on the part of the secretary. If he does not receive information about the classmates he can not pass any along in these notes. If you want to read about your classmates they want to read about you. Send him news and information and help make his burden the lighter.

Richard Marcy, better known to the class as Dick, died at the Haywood Memorial Hospital, Gardner, Mass., on May 8, 1948. Funeral services were held in Fitchburg, Mass., on Tuesday, May 11. An obituary notice will appear in the next issue of the MAGAZINE.
