In the last issue we told you about our very successful dinner meeting on November 30 at the Maugus Club in Wellesley. Since that time we have been working on the following two events on which you will receive further notice at a later date:

LATE FEBRUARY, 1949—Smoker and Buffet at the Wellesley Country Club.

MARCH 26, 1949—Dartmouth Glee Club Concert at the Wellesley High School Auditorium.

In connection with the latter event, we are looking for a few alumni families in the Wellesleys and the Newtons who are willing to provide Saturday night supper, a bed for the night, and Sunday morning breakfast for one or two of the Glee Club members. In order for us to swing this concert, it will be necessary that we take care of a number of the boys in this manner.

Alumni groups in other sections have always responded enthusiastically to such an appeal and we know that we will have your cooperation too. Furthermore, you would probably enjoy having a couple of students in your home overnight to bring you up to date on Hanover doings.

We are all looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our smoker, and we know that you, your wives, and your families will certainly be on hand for the Glee Club concert, the charge for which will be very nominal and the proceeds of which, over and above expenses, will go to the scholarship fund.
