Attendance at the February monthly luncheon swelled substantially perhaps because of the publicity being given our approaching winter season dinner to be held on February 19. Twenty-one men were on hand. New faces present for the first time were Al Gottschaldt '18, who has just established an advertising agency in Miami, and Bud Hoban '12. Colonel Henry Teague '00 made a surprise appearance, and seemed to be completely recovered from his recent illness. All in all, this was our most successful luncheon meeting so far. H. WilburGraves '09, who is down for the winter, was another newcomer to the luncheon club.
Dick Phimer '12 nominated Bob Pierce '25 to fill one of the vacancies on the Alumni Council for the southern district. The nomination was seconded by Colonel Teague, and unanimously passed. Between now and June when the vacancy will be filled our club politicos will be mustering support for Bob's elec tion throughout the southern states included in our district.
On February 5 J. Weston Dunaway '43 and Jacqueline Shew Fischer were married at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove.
