While writing this, Christmas was yet to come, the tree in the middle of the Green looked beautiful each night with its multitude of lights and star shining. It was brrr cold in Hanover, with some snow but still not enough for skiing.

I It was recently announced that a fund in honor of George Naylor was established by his widow, Helen. It will serve to fund the equestrian program, and make it possible for students of lesser means to be part of it. She had earlier donated her champion horse, Maestro, who has become a favorite in the barn and program at Morton Farm.

We called on Katie Black (Dick) at Harvest Hill in Lebanon. Her sight and hearing aren't what they used to be, but her mind certainly is.

Rip talked by phone with Barney McCray, who seems to be in great shape and enjoying life.

The capital campaign is underway, which we all surely are aware of. A worthwhile endeavor! A big stretch which will be reached! Rip adds,

"Get up each day and try to do The things you really should Then try to do one other thing of everlasting good."
