Due to our having to vacate our quarters in the Outing Club House where our class dinner was held June 13, at an hour agreed upon, to make way for the senior class '50, the reading of letters by the secretary from those unable to be present was omitted.

Prof. W. P. Boynton, Pingry to members of '90, wrote from Whittier, Calif., June 5, that the thought of attending our reunion was very intriguing, as also a similar one from Phillips Exeter in memory of 1885, but both* have seemed beyond the possibility of realization. "I remember when Gerould and Grover were in Harvard and called on me and Mabel on Wendell St. Personally I am vigorous and active, but like an old can have to have occasional overhauling, not to mention minor replacements, like demountable dentures. I have three brothers and their families within 30 miles, a daughter and her family within about three blocks. I am still in several choruses and a church choir actually handling first tenor. My greetings and best wishes to all."

Laura D. Hardy writes from Arlington, Mass., "I shall be with you all in spirit. These reunions meant so much to Charles who never missed a reunion. Remember me to all." The class has had four secretaries and two presidents up to now, and Charles for years was secretary, treasurer and agent, ably assisted by his wife Laura, an alumna of Radcliffe.

Alice M. Ruggles writes from Mill Hill, Nantucket Island, July 16, "Your kind note received as I was packing for my usual summer at Nantucket, where Dan and I spent so many seasons together. I was with you in thought and our son Dan Jr. told me of meeting with members of your class. Dan would be glad to know his youngest grandson graduated the year of his own 12th reunion. With kindest regards, Sincerely yours."

Elinor Robinson wrote from Laconia, N. H., June 30, "Dear Mr. Bacon: Thank you for writing me. It is nice to have something to look forward to, so I shall keep the 13th reunion in mind. In answer to your inquiry, Pine Orchard is on Long Island Sound in the town of Bradford, about nine miles from New Haven. Sincerely yours."

Each of the 14 living widows of '90 were written to and cordially invited to attend the 12 th reunion of the class.

In response to a request from Jimmy Reynolds to send in some class notes as he was finding it difficult to dig up any, I wrote about my unusual relations with Dan Ruggles. He thanked me for my contribution, writing that he could use it. His tragic death intervened before he could. I will reproduce it for the next offering.

TOP CLASS SECRETARY: Frank Eleazar Rowe, class secretary for 1891 ever since graduation, shown receiving the annual "best" award from Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, at the May gathering of class and club officers in Hanover.
