Following the Installation Dinner at the Hempstead Elks Club on September 15 and Dartmouth Night at the Garden City Casino on October 20, plans are going ahead full steam for the Dartmouth Glee Club Concert on December 2. Tentative location is the Garden City High School (same as the April concert), but final arrangements were not complete as this was written. Chairman JackCoulson '39 (129 Grand Ave., Freeport) will have complete information in the mail to Long Island alumni in a day or two.
More than 70 alumni turned out to hear President Dickey speak at the Installation Dinner. Judge Harry Collins '18 installed the new officers, including President Walter S.Rushmore '32, Vice President Jack Coulson, '39, Treasurer Dan Denham '31, Secretary Rog Allen '37, Assistant Secretary Al Fisher '29, and Executive Committee members OrtHicks '21, Al Marks '34 and Bob Darbee '41. Bill Coulson Sr., Hon. '18, received the club's Tomahawk Award in recognition of his outstanding efforts in helping to found the Long Is'and group and in bringing all Dartmouth fathers into the Dartmouth family.

Joseph Burbeck and Richard Cahn represented the Class of 1953, and five members of the entering class (1954) were also on deck—Jim Fisher (son of Al Fisher '29), Ward Gypsum Jr., Ed Norman (son of Chris Norman '28), Herbert Sherman and Martin Siegal.
Executive members Bill Bell '37 and TonyLyons '49 have already been called back to active duty by Uncle Sam. We imagine more of the membership will be joining them soon.
