Plans have been completed for the Dartmouth Glee Club Concert to be held Saturday evening, April 1, at the Garden City (Long Island) High School auditorium, according to Wally Rushmore '32, chairman.
Always one of the most popular attractions from Hanover on the alumni circuit, Warner Bentley's group bids well to repeat its 1948 Long Island success before a packed house.
This is the second big alumni affair on Long Island within five weeks, following close on the heels of the Dartmouth-Hofstra basketball game at the Hempstead Garden which brought out the largest alumni assemblage ever in this area. Jigger Pender, Line Miller,John Shaw and Ed Warnke can take the bows for bringing the Big Green hoopsters to Long Island for the first time. The entire committee did a great job in putting it over.
