The Holiday season seems to have brought with it a quiet in class business and correspondence.

Quillian Brazel is living in Elmira, N. Y. Dexter Brooks is working with Clayton Securities Corp. in Boston. Lowell Brown is a salesman for the Albany Felt Co. GerryPhillips is a student at the Cornell Law School.

Morris Polsky is living in Atlantic City, N. J. Harry Powell is Merchandise Manager for J. B. White & Co. of Columbia, S. C. DonShedd is an insurance claims adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, living in Chicago.

Joe Flounders is chairman of a committee in the Philadelphia area which is now interviewing candidates for admission to Dartmouth. Joe is also acting secretary for the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia. Probably other of our number are serving on these committees this year. George Ferrarese's monthly newsletter is welcome and regular. Francis Bealey of Bellerose, N. Y. was a visitor at the Hanover Inn during December.

A Christmas card from Bill Goode in Paris tells of seeing Jim RudolpK recently, and of having seen Bob Frank and Tom Leggat during this past summer. Those of you who see Life regularly may have noticed a bearded picture of Jim in one of this summer's issues.

As noted in a recent Squaw-ker, BruceMather is enjoying a very successful year with the Boston Olympic hockey team, mingled with his law studies. Just recently he signed a try-out agreement with the Boston Bruins and will report to the Hershey, Pa. training camp next fall provided his studies at B. U. are not affected. Ralph Warburton is again playing with Milwaukee of the United States League.

On the ist of December the former Miss Dorothy Donovan of Peterborough, N. H., became the bride of Walt Peterson. Mrs. Peterson is a graduate of Russell Sage College and Mt. Holyoke. Walt and his wife will live in Temple, N. H.

Miss Ruth Prince Byerly and GrantTinker are planning a March wedding as recently announced. Grant is now working with the National Broadcasting Company in New York City. Also recently announced is the engagement of Miss Virginia Lloyd Sidley to Bob Colwell. Bob is working with H. E. Colwell & Sons, Inc. of New Rochelle, N. Y.

Hardy, Eleanor and Sandra Hendren send greetings from 128 Wigwam Circle, Hanover, where they live while Hardy completes his second year medical school work. Bob Hall has been working in Wilmington, Del. for the past year and a half for DuPont in the Polychemicals Department and seems very satisfied. Bob has been living in a bachelor household in Wilmington rather than commuting from his home near Philadelphia. Bob has recently become engaged to Carolyn Shepard of Wilmington, but has no definite wedding plans as yet.

Jack Heagy is teaching English and History at the Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, N. H. This is Jack's third year teaching in Canaan and he is thinking of getting his master's degree, then going into public school teaching.

Art Wilson, working with the Grace Lines for the past months in New York City, will be working for the next six months to a year in Venzuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Art has just returned to this country from a quick trip through this locality and is looking forward to his new assignment.

Warren Hulser is teaching his second year at Hebron Academy in Hebron, Me. After finishing at Dartmouth, Warren taught a year at St. Paul's School in Concord, N. H., then studied a year at Harvard for his M.A., thinking that he might prefer to be a research mathematician. But the year at Harvard convinced him that, for a while, teaching would be his preferred occupation.

LT. ARCHIBALD H. ROWAN JR. '47, Marine Reserve, is congratulated by Col. John Griebel, USMC, on being awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with three gold stars, for action in the South Pacific as pilot of a B-24 Liberator. Lt. Rowe is married to the former Jean Tanch, daughter of the late Joseph W. Tanch, Professor of Physics, Emeritus.
