Maybe you won't believe it but the birds have been sounding like spring here for quite some time now.

Recent visitors at the Hanover Inn include Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brophy, George Spinney, and Lt. Joe Kurey.

We have only one wedding to report this month, and that took place on the Saturday between Christmas and New Year's when the former Miss Mary Sherman was married to Bob Mortimer in Chicago. No other particulars are noted in the news clipping we have from the Chicago Tribune. Bob has been an account executive with Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Beane of Chicago for several years.

Miss Claire H. Johnson and Bob Snedaker are planning a June wedding. They were recently engaged. Bob has been with the New York Telephone Co. for several years and is now the district manager for the Brooklyn Division. Also engaged during the Christmas season were Miss Marilyn Black and BurtZuckernik.

Herm Gadon recently spoke at Providence College on "Management's Industrial Relation Problems in Rhode Island." He is presently works manager with the Crescent Co., Inc., of Pawtucket and is also a candidate for his doctorate in economics at M.I.T.

Bill Dahlin is sales representative with Scientific American in NYC. Recently-married Skip Dickinson continues in the advertising department of Connecticut Light and Power Co., living in Farmington, Conn. Russ Foster lives in Manchester,,. N. H., with his wife Muriel, Stephen age 4, Rusty age 2, and Cary, 6 months. Fritz Alexander, married last August in Gary, Ind., is now a lawyer in NYC.

Carolina Beard is an account executive in Greensboro, N. C., with Merrill, Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Beane. Bruce Bryer is at Lt. (jg) with the Harbor Defence Unit in San Francisco. Lt. (Dr.) Van Chambers is living in Fairchild, Wash. Johnny laniri, formerly Lt. USNR, is now advertising manager for C. H. Roth Co., Retail Div., NYC. Ed Jacobs is also back home from the Navy and is working as a representative with Gruen Watch Co., NYC. Capt. Chuck Langley is stationed at Camp Lejeune, N. C.

Rev. Ray Mallary is at the Trinity Church, Fishkill, N. Y. Roscoe Radcliffe continues as a chemist, with Lever Bros. Co. at their research center in Edgewater, N. J. Steve Reinhardt is a lawyer with Exploration & Production Oil, Pan-Am Southern Corp. La., NYC. Ben Tice continues as a field representative with Solar Aircraft Co. in San Diego, Calif. Dick Whikehart continues as a civil engineer with Arthur G. McKee Co., Cleveland, O. Joe Wierschem is in the production control department of the Louis Allis Co., Milwaukee, Wis.

Since the regular news channels seem to be choked during this time of year, this is all until next month.
