We're moving north, and like spring, we've blossomed out 'round Boston. Keep up with the address changes so your Secretary's mail does not get too far behind.

There are several engagement announcements to be made this month. Miss Anne Starr Griscom Holmes and Charles White are planning a wedding on July 22 in Watch Hill, R- I. Miss Holmes is attending Bryn Mawr College. A Spring wedding is planned for Miss Jacquelyn Vail and Robert Laggren. Robert is a graduate of Wesleyan University in the class of 1943, and after serving three years as a Lieutenant of Marines in the Pacific area, obtained his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Tuck School. He is now working with the All States Insurance Company in Chicago. A student at Simmons College, Miss Nancy Jane Kohn is engaged to Ary Kaufmann.

Ed Grady was a visitor at the Hanover Inn during the early part of February.

The New England Regional Class Committee, guided by Hank Spiers during Pete Estin's temporary absence, is making plans for a dinner this early spring. The full committee now consists of Pete Estin, chairman, Hank Spiers, Len Bjorklund, Phil Segal and Bun Harvey. In the New York Metropolitan Area, post card returns are still being received in response to the recent questionnaire circulated to gather information for a regional Class roster. In Pennsylvania those classmates who can will gather with other ' Dartmouth men at the annual Philadelphia meeting on April 10. Jack Young is hoping that others of the class will join with BobBach and Pete Larson for the Dartmouth Softball interclub team.

Len Bjorklund tells of recent chats with Russ Palmer, Charlie Duncan, Norm Fink,Jim Winter, Cotton Johnson, Ted Clark,George Moses- and Dexter Brooks.

The Class of 1947 Executive Committee is planning to meet on the 13th of May in Hanover to review class activities and affairs for the coming year. Anyone wishing to make comment should address communications to the Secretary well in advance of that date.

At Dartmouth, the A.B. degree was awarded on February 1, 1950 to Richard Dean Sears and Burton Zuckernik.

Since graduating from college three years ago, John Lee has been with Procter and Gamble as section salesman, first in South Georgia, and now in his home town of Jacksonville, Fla. John finds the soap business fascinating and highly competitive.

Since last September Pete Larson has been in Chapel Hill, at the University of North Carolina working for a Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning. Pete sees NeilBeard occasionally. Pete traveled with TomLeggat and his brother for two months last summer from Scandinavia to Italy; next summer Pete plans to work with the planning commission in Poughkeepsie, N. Y.

Since graduation from Dartmouth in September, 1946, Ray Lawrence has been with the N. J. Bell Telephone Company as assistant manager of the New Brunswick office.

Bob Huffman reports from Hanover while attending Tuck School and lists the following as second-year Tuck men; Swede Hallager, George Gerrish, Dick Lezius, Dick Mennen, Will Bollenbach, and Ernie Beattie. Will is married and lives in Wigwam Circle. George is Social Chairman of the Tuck Clearing House Committee. Swede is still to be seen on the slopes, especially at Moosilauke. Bob visited with Bill Wood recently; Bill is with the Brewer & Lord Insurance agency in Boston and was taking a long weekend at the time to do some skiing.

Don Knapp is back in this country after spending some 18 months working with the American Friends Service Committee in Germany. Don spent much of his time working with German youth, first at Druewald near Hannover and later at the Brunswick Neighborhood Center sponsored by the Quakers.
