Forrest Hall has joined the ranks of retired schoolmasters after teaching 31 and a half years in the State of New Hampshire, 29 of them in Keene High School. He was head of the Mechanics Arts department for 20 years. As retirement approached he was honored by Keene Teachers Association, the High School teachers and groups of students. He is living in Keene with his wife and daughter. He is a member of the grandfathers' club with three grandsons. At present he is occupied on a school survey and is subject to call as a substitute teacher.

A note from Bergengren says he recently broke his right arm and will be one-handed for about six weeks. Harold and Grace Hess stopped overnight on their way to their hotel in New Hampshire. Later the Hesses arranged a reunion with the Harry Bullards and the Bergengrens at their hotel. Bergie reported all were in top shape. The Bullards lost their home in the big Maine fire a few years ago. They have since bought an old colonial house and moved it onto their land where they have modernized it and improved it.

Bergie has been in Hanover to talk to Tuck School seniors, and to townspeople interested in a credit union.

Vic Cutter reports a meeting in Hanover with Kid Cohen, at which the affairs of the nation were satisfactorily settled. Vic is recovering from his eye operation and says that this has been the coldest, wettest summer since he has been at Musa Farm. In contrast to that we have had a fine summer on the Cape.
