The following letter from Eugene D. Burbank is certainly worthy of publication:
"On our trip around the world in 1926-1927, we stayed at Waikiki. One morning early when there were few in the water, I swam out to the float. After sitting there a short time, I dived into the water and when I came up, I was face to face with Syd Walker. Neither knew that the other was in the Islands."
In August Mrs. Rowe and the Secretary made a short but delightful call on Mrs. Herbert E. Sargent living in Sargent Dormitory, Brewster Free Academy in Wolfeboro, N. H.
The recent death of Dr. Leon B. Richardson, 1900, comes with peculiar force to secretaries of the old classes, especially to those who, for several years, have dined as guests of the College in the get-together dinner at the Inn where we all enjoyed the presence of Miss Ford, honorary member of '91 and probably of some of the other classes. Dr. Richardson will surely be missed at future gatherings.
