The local librarian reports that the impact of television has not, as yet, cut down the number of book borrowers. As a class secretary, we hope that readership in class notes columns has not fallen off because of this new medium. In short, dear reader, drag up a chair. Any old chair. Even a "television" chair.
In compiling this month's column, we discovered that several items were coming in pairs. Assuming this is a good omen, we start off with news about Fent and Kent Lane; the Moore twins, Pres and Clark; Den and BobTaylor; the Doctors Wilson, Bill and Hud; and the refrigeration experts, Gil Augenblick on the east coast and Dick Lamb on the west coast.
It has been a long time since this column has had any news from Fent Lane. After leaving Dartmouth, Fent attended Miami University of Ohio. He later received his M.D. degree from Michigan, studying under the ASTP. In 1943 he married Dorothy Ransch (a Western College and Michigan alumna) in Dayton, Ohio. They have two sons, Jeffry, age five, and Robert, age three. Fent has been a physician at the Cleveland Clinic, which also boasts another '43 doctor, Charlie "Killer" Kane.

And finally, Gil Augenblick and Dick Lamb should be able to get together at the next refrigeratormen's convention. Lone man on the marriage list this month is Kent Hutchinson. We reported in October that his engagement to Carolyn Morris of Gallup, N. M., was announced June 7. Unfortunately, the newspaper clipping on the ceremony itself sent us by one of Kent's friends merely states that the wedding took place "Saturday afternoon" in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gallup. So we are still at loss for the exact date.
