The following news is somewhat self-evident to those of you who noticed the change in the masthead. At any rate, our faithful Acting-Secretary and Treasurer Dick Greene has been asked to "volunteer" again by UNCLE. He went back in on January 7. I know that we all hate to see him go and give our most sincere thanks for the swell job of organization he did for us while he was in circulation.
The Class Executive Committee met on December 16 and appointed Bobby and Al to carry on the class duties. To you fellows go our best wishes for lots of success in your new offices. Let me suggest that all you guys in the class can make their work a lot easier by pitching in and helping dut in every way possible.
This month wedding bells will ring a bit more briefly than usual. They concern two October weddings and one in December. Phil Gahm married Miss Luella A. Flett of Milton, Mass., on October 15. She is a graduate of Bates College. They honeymooned in the South and are now residing at 38 Silver St., Quincy, Mass.
October 29 saw Miss Nancy Alice Frost of Pelham Manor, N. Y., and Ex-Colby Jr., married to Mort Smith. Jim Fox was best man. Mort, at last notice, was with the Home Life Insurance Co., as an Actuarial Student. His address was then Plainfield, N. J.
As predicted, Tom Davis married Miss Sally Bagby of Oak Park, Ill., on December 29. Boz Kirkpatrick ushered, his second such task of the holiday season.
Among the "Jive-ier" communications received the past month is a press release from ist Army Headquarters in New York all about our own Bob Pilsbury, now back in the Army as a Ist Lt. It seems that every Friday night there is a jazz concert at New York City's Central Plaza which features the Fletcher Henderson sextet. Friday night, December 1, the patrons saw a Ist Lt., none other than Pilsy, sit in with the sextet and do right well by himself, According to the release, he drew an excellent round of applause from the audience. To those of us who remember some of the sessions that Bob presided over at Hanover, this isn't at all surprising. Incidentally, he is presently assigned to Headquarters Company, Fort Jay, N. Y.
Lan Macartney, who has been in Canada for some time pounding rocks for Stanolind Oil and Gas Cos., has returned to the States and is now in the company's division office in Casper, Wyoming. His address is P. O. Box 40, Casper, Wyoming.
Lee Gold is in the Army. His location is Maryland and he is in the 59th Chemical Maintenance Cos Sam Wilkinson came down from Boston for the Princeton game and spent the weekend with Dick Dahl in Montclair Davey Auld is back in his home town of Columbus, 0., and may be reached there at 1660 Waltham Road Herb Bender is now living at 1511 Charlotte St., New York 60, N. Y., and is teaching.
.... Lanny Brisbin is with Royal Crown Bottling Cos. in Huntington, W.Va. His address is 938-31 st Ave., Apt. 11, Huntington Stan Churchill is in agriculture" at Whitefield, N. H Bob Flanders is now practicing his medicine with the Navy at the Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, N. H. He holds the rank of Lt. and is living at 320 No. River Road, Manchester, N. H Paul Fredyma is teaching in Hartford, Vt Griff Griffith has moved from 28 Mountain Ave., Maplewood, N. J., to 47 Pierson Road, same city. Griff is with Colgate-Palmolive-Peet as an industrial engineer Fog Grow is with WKXL in Concord, N. H., as a continuity writer. He resides at 8 B Lyndon St., Concord The Bob Hoekelmans are living at 139 Wigwam in Hanover Audie Knight has moved to 4 Windemere Park, Manchester, Mass AlMcAllister is in Hartford with the PhoenixConn. ....George MacGillivray is living at 1246 S. Taylor St., Arlington, Va Mickey McMichael is now a Clinical Psychologist with the rank, of ensign for the navy in San Diego. Home address is 3028-6111 Ave., San Diego. Fritz McTarnahan is now at 1743 E. Adelaide Drive, Apt. 10, Tucson, Ariz BillMatthews, an Engineer with New Departure Division of General Motors at Bristol, Conn., is now living at 44 Oakland St., that city.
.... Dave Meeker, in the Sales and Service Dept. of the Hobart Mfg. Cos., is now living at 306 Grant St., Troy, O Jack Parker has moved to Brentwood Road, Route 1, Exeter, N. H Len Robinson, last heard of as an oil scout, is living at 17121,4 Dunlavy St., Apt. 2, Houston 6, Tex Ed Satalia has moved to 19204 Southgate Ave., Warrensville Heights, O Eddie Tarca, an engineer in the electronics development field, is living at 66 W. Greenwood Ave., Lansdowne, Pa Vince Vayo is back in the navy as a lieutenant and is stationed at the Naval Amphibious Base at Little Creek, Va. His permanent address is 131 Elm St., Millbury, Mass.
.... Roy Wilson is now living at 93 Lafayette Blvd., Williamsville 21, N. Y. When last heard about, Roy was selling insurance Chuck Zoolalian is teaching at Montabello Junior High School, Montabello, Calif. His address in Montabello is 132 N. Poplar Way.
And so ends the changes of address and various bits of information sent from Hanover. I picked up a clipping when Jimmy and I were East for Christmas which announced the engagement of Bob-O Russell to Miss Barbara Elizabeth Haver of Kingston, N. Y. She is a Junior at Wheaton College.
I hope that I can report in the next issue that my sources of news are other than the alumni offices in Hanover. How about a let- ter, huh?!
