The past few months have been a busy time for engagement and marriage announcements. Engagements include: Janet Tweed to GeorgeDwenger; Jean Yoder to Bob Gallagher, with plans for a wedding February 3 in Kenilworth, Miss.; Mary Elizabeth McCarthy to Bob Craig; Ruth Ellen Helsell to Jim Winter; Shirley Martha Hedden to Steck Stoecker; Emma Jane Weil to William Carroll; and Elaine Elizabeth Beatty to Woody Timbers.
Marriage announcements can be reported in more detail. Ralph Warburton and the former Rosemary Ann Humer were married in Edgewood on November 22, 1950, Bruce Mather an usher. The Warburtons planned a wedding trip to New York City and are now residing in Cranston, R. I.
Pete Estin had marriage plans in Greenwich, Conn., on February 10 with the former Hope Stapley Wonham. Pete has recently received a commission as 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force and expects to be serving in the near future.
Nick Nickelsen was married in Nyack, N. Y., November 18, to the former Helen J. Beardsley. Bill Dahlin was best man. Nick is studying at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, where the couple now reside.
Lt. (jg) Karl Becker married the former Mary Jane Ward in Mickleton, N. J., November 4. Karl is a graduate of Holy Cross and is presently stationed in Key West, Fla., where he is in the USN Submarine Service.
Art Agin and the former Joan Frances Frucht were married in Englewood, N. J., December 18. After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the Agins settled in New York where both are teaching.
The former Jean MacKay was married November 19, in Stoneham, Mass., to ChuckCreedon. The Creedons planned to make their home in Detroit.
Juliette Staats and Bob Huffman were married December 10, in Charleston, S. C.
Leo and Cathy Cunningham are the proud parents of Judith Louise, born December 30. Mike Moran was engaged in November to Miss Mary Lynn Wood of Washington, D. C. PerryAnderson VOLS a visitor at the Hanover Inn during the New Year.
George Benoit has opened an office for the practice of dentistry in Roslindale, Mass. George graduated from Tufts Dental College last June. Tom Williams is now a married man and a resident of Toledo, Ohio. His wife is the former Mae Doak of Toledo. Tom is now working for Kroger Co.
Lee Alexander is teaching in Brunswick, Maine. Marvin Cline is doing graduate work in psychology at Cornell University. ObieO'Brien has returned from his teacher-coach position with the Punahou School in Honolulu to a like position at Union College in Schenectady, N. Y. Obie has three children: two girls and the youngest, a boy. Bob Price is in London, England, for an extended visit. Ed Scully is in the process of moving East from California.
