It's already time for Christmas and New Year's greetings, and not many more months will pass before June 22, 23 and 24, 1951 will be here and all who can plan the time will travel to Hanover for 47's reunion. Reunion chairman Townes Harris has been working for several months with Bob Owens on reunion publicity, and Joe Lovell on reunion finances. The Committee will be increased in size after the first of the year when each reunion event will be carefully planned.

Following along with the football season the class regional committees have been active this fall with gatherings planned around the Penn, Harvard and Princeton games.

In Philadelphia, on the Friday evening before the Penn game, Jack Young's committee publicized the local Alumni gathering which has been reported to have been a gala affair 47s were present in good numbers, in good spirits too. A list of those representing the class was not available at this writing.

The Hotel Vendome, Boston, was the scene of cocktails for the class immediately following the Harvard game. The gathering was scheduled for the supper cocktail hour, not to interfere with the usual Boston Alumni Club dance in the Copley Plaza.

The Princeton game will touch off a gathering of classmates in New York City at the Dartmouth Club. Al Bildner's committee has planned a cozy evening for '47s, dates and wives.

In both the New York and Boston areas, the pattern for regional meetings has become a mixed gathering in the football season, and a stag affair come springtime.
