As of March 15 our beloved classmate Rev Edward Bowers was holding his own at the Fort Plain, N. Y., convalescent home, but his condition was reported as very serious.
A fine letter from George ("Bob") Boutelle of 41Cross St., Nashua, N. H., indicates his regrets that he almost never sees or hears of any classmates. Both he and Mrs. Boutelle "are up and about the premises each day ... but when one comes to be our ages, I find that each day is for itself only; tomorrow must wait as one never knows what to expect. However, interest in living and in local and world events is not waning and life is still pleasant to live." His hobby is making and caring for a small garden—vegetables and flowers—his enthusiasm for this is great and he was happy to be able in 1950 to spade, plant, cultivate and harvest crops from approximately 3000 square feet. This he did without help. Here's hoping he may harvest many more crops.
Received a most interesting description of the bomb tests near Las Vegas, Nev., as seen and heard by Dr. "Billy" Redenbaugh, who took photographs and a print of one accompanied his letter. He estimated he was about 60 miles from the actual explosions. His description is extremely vivid. He also reports that he spent a week at Carson City and Reno, meeting the Governor and members of the Legislature.

"Bob" Ebbs, who has for a number of years wintered at Clearwater, Fla., failed to report this past winter, so that it appears that FrankPelton and your secretary were the only '93 men in Florida during the winter.
Frank writes in a reminiscent way of Hanover and of events of the late 'Bo's and the early '90's. He particularly emphasizes how "Sam" Hunt tried to teach him to waltz at the Tri Kap house. Frank's address continues to be 338 S. W. 57th Ave., Miami, Fla.
