Willis Sparhawk has passed on at 83 and we who knew him as a loyal Dartmouth '93 classmate mourn his loss. Although his health, even from childhood, had been precarious, nevertheless by good care and by outdoor life whenever possible he was able to enjoy life, having a philosophy which carried him along happily. (See "In Memoriam" section March MAGAZINE.)
We herewith thank the thoughtful classmates who sent us holiday greetings and we hope to hear by letter from the others. Unless we do, these notes are sure to be very skimpy.
We had the pleasure of a visit with Mrs. Mason, who after operations and consultations over a period of years, has come back to what seems to be good health. This is easily realized when one learns that she has started driving her automobile after a six-year layoff, driving down to St. Petersburg, Fla. from Buffalo, N. Y. alone.
