It was my hope this year to have some personal word from each member of the class in this column. To that end the first 30 members were sent an information blank to fill out and return not later than Sept. 30. The result has not been very encouraging.

Adriance—Retired, but a part-time teacher at the University of Maine. Four grandchildren.

Ailing—No report.

Ayers—Still active with Utah Const. Co. He and Bernice flew 10,000 miles this summer covering the whole United States and Mexico City. Bankart—No report. Benton—No report. Bishop—No report. In Japan. Blood—Retired. After being laid low with arthritis for a year, Bob is now able to walk about a little. Our very best for a full recovery, Bob. One grandchild. Bodwell—No report. Bourne—No report. Bowlby—Completing ten years as Minister of Daniel Webster's Old Church in Franklin, N. H. Six grandchildren. Boynton, George—Has been a member of the New Hampshire State legislature continuously since 1929. The Boston Herald recently carried his picture as a member of the Hillsboro Old Home Day Committee. No grandchildren. Boynton, Herbert—Retired. Living in Georgetown, Mass. No grandchildren. Brock—No report. Brown, Homer—No report. Burch—No report. Butterfield—No report. Carr— In good health. Main interest in life is his only grandson, Daniel, the seventh in direct succession. Chnpin—No report. Has done a wonderful job on the Green Messenger.Chase—No report. I understand Chubb has recently become a grandfather. Chellis—No report. Con is back in Meriden. Cheney—Still selling credit insurance. Has three grandchildren with another one expected in October. Chidley—Starting on his 35th year as minister of the First Cong. Church of Winchester. Mass. During his ministry 2400 new members have joined the church". Childs—No report. Clark—No report. Cochran—No report. Cogswell—No report.

Cornell—No report. Tom, his wife and daughter sailed on Sept. 26 for Ireland, England, Scotland and France. Cooke, Henry—No report. Cooke, Randall—The Home Nat'l Bank of Brockton took over the Whitman Nat'l Bank in May 1949 and Randall was promoted to the Managership of the Whitman branch. Cragin—No report.

Jack Kingsbury is now living at 9 Linden Ave., Wheeling, W. Va. Jack and his wife are taking care of their daughter's three children because the mother died suddenly while giving birth to the third child, a boy. While in Victoria, B. C. on vacation DaveMain ran across Walter Dakin and his wife who were starting on an Alaskan trip. Ben Mathes is now Owner-Manager of the Venice-Myakka Hotel, Venice, Fla. The Treasurer's books have been audited and all funds are safe and accounted for. Less than half the class have paid their dues, so if you are one of the delinquents write Norm at once.
