Two of the class were elected to membership on the Alumni Council—Jack Nelson of Manchester, N. H., and Parker Trowbridge of Worcester, Mass. They attended the meeting of the Council on June 8 and 9 when Hap Atwood presided as the retiring president, who, by the way, has made a most interesting presiding officer. You know the accomplishments of each, both private and civic, so we'll just congratulate them at this time and wish them much pleasure in this opportunity for greater work for the College.

Hap Atwood, on his return from Hanover, June 29 to be exact, was elected to the presidency of the First National Bank'of Minneapolis. Lyman E. Hap was a vice president of the bank from 1933 to 1936 when he resigned to become vice president and a director of the B. F. Nelson Manufacturing Co. of Minnesota. He has been a director of the bank since April 1943 and has served on its trust Committee. He took over the new executive duties after a brief vacation and continues to be a director of B. F. Nelson Co.
