The Air Force has recently announced the appointment of Col. William P. (Bill) Farnsworth as C.O. of the newly established Northeastern Air Procurement District as the result of a realignment of the Air Force procurement structure by which 6 major districts encompassing the entire nation will conduct their own administrative affairs. New England and northern New York State Air Force suppliers will have available in their own vicinity the answers to all problems pertaining to Air Force contracts. Temporarily, the district will maintain its residency at the Army Base until a larger headquarters is established elsewhere in Boston. Prior to this appointment, Bill served as Ass't Auditor General, Headquarters, USAF, Washington, D. C., and during World War II as Deputy Commander of the Air Force's Eastern Procurement District in New York.

The Reverend Richard P. (Wee) McClintock in April left the Church of the Messiah in Auburndale, Mass. to become rector of Trinity Church in Watertown, N. Y. His new parish has a membership of 1200 and a physical plant valued at more than $500,000. Wee has served as rector of the Auburndale Church since 1938 as well as chaplain for both the police and fire departments of that city. Wee will conduct the memorial service for our departed classmates at our twenty-fifth reunion.

Slated to be on hand in June are the Weeks',Goss', Bellaires, Chuck Websters, Russ Websters,Courtney Browns, Bruce Tomlinsons,Diehls, Orrs, Gleasons and Mansers. Howabout you—will you be there?

Dr. Andrew J. (Swede) Oberlander was the principal speaker at the annual meeting and dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Springfield, Mass., at the Longmeadow Country Club on February 16. Medical director of the National Life Insurance Cos. since 1947, Swede is also a member of the Dartmouth Alumni Council, the Vermont State Boxing Commission and Vermont State Board of Selective Service Appeals. During the War he served as senior medical officer of the U.S.S. Samar in the Pacific with the rank of Lt. Commander.

Carl Schipper, Ralph Thomas, the BleekWilliams', Bill Barclay, Charlie Bishops, Darlings,Bixbys, Johnstons, Bakers, Burlingames,Willards and Mandels will be back for the twenty-fifth—will you?

A recent feature article in the PittsburghPress, entitled "Sports Disappointments Linger On" consisted of an interview with the wellknown Pittsburgh broker, one N.K. (Nate)Parker. Nate, after 25 years, still bemoans the Yale-Dartmouth nightmare of 1924—the 14-14 tie that was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect 22-game Dartmouth streak extending from 1923 to 1926. With first and goal on the Yale one, the Bull-dogs repulsed four Indian rushes and "that was the most disappointing day of my life. We certainly wanted to win that one," says Nate, and then modestly adds that "Dartmouth plays a much tougher schedule to-day." Could be that present day Dartmouth teams aren't as tough as the famous Oberlander,Tully, Sage, Diehl, etc. combination captained by Nate.

The Parkers will be on hand in June, as will the Cornells, Leysers, Morgans, Fishes, JohnRoberts', Ross, Nighs, Sanfords, McKennas and Vennemans. You, too?

A recent letter from Sumner B. (Sonny) Tilton says that he and the whole family will be on hand in June. Sonny, who was recently elected president of the University Club in Worcester, reports that he bowls on the same team with Robert Harrington, the Treasurer of the Massachusetts Protection Association and Paul Revere Life Insurance Co. He reports that Bob is in excellent health and doing a grand job.

According to Sonny, the aforementioned Tully (Dr. George Chandler Tully, that is) is an eminently successful physician as attested by that fact that he has lost his trim athletic figure and now carries a corporation.

Jesse J. (Jack) Morgan Jr. has resigned as superintendent of the Auburn and Sutton, Mass., schools to become superintendent of the Saugus Schools, effective July 30. Jack and his wife Margaret have been very active in Auburn community work during the past nine years. Jack was the first president of the Auburn Rotary Club, chairman of the Boy Scout fund and Red Cross fund. His wife is a past director of the 13th District, Massachusetts Federation of Women's Clubs, former president of the Auburn Woman's Club and Auburn PTA. They have two sons, Jesse Jr., a sophomore at Dartmouth, and David, a freshman at Auburn High. We extend our best wishes for success in their new post.

Richard (Dick) Sagendorph has bought another farm, not as extensive as his old Alta Crest farm which he sold to the Trappist Monks, but he still has his herd and dairy equipment and is still serving Alta Crest milk to the public. Although the milk is excellent, Sonny reports that a glance at his milk bills convinces him that he has practically supported Dick these many years.

Richard W. (Dick) Husband, Professor of Industrial Psychology at lowa State, reports a recent visit by Art Wilcox and family on their way through from Los Angeles and Yellowstone to New York. Also a recent encounter with Carl Allen in Kalamazoo and a visit with George Gorglum in Detroit. The Husbands will be in Hanover in June, as will the Aliens and Borglums. Will you?

Recent visitors to the Hanover Inn were Clark (Tubber) Weymouth, the Syl McGinnis', the Okey O'Connors, Russ Newcombs, BobClearys and Russ Williams—a sort of reunion preview.

Remember—we plan to see all of you June 15, 16 and 17 at the biggest, grandest, hellzapoppin reunion yet—that terrific twenty-fifth of twenty-six. Don't miss it for love nor money! We'll be seein ya!
