The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of the Northwest was held at the Minneapolis Club on March 11. Bob Krieger '41 presided at the meeting. Approximately 75 alumni and 7 guests were present at the meeting.

The following officers were elected to serve during the coming year: Stewart MacPhail '32, president; John W. Kelley '41, vice president; Lyman Wakefield '33, treasurer; and George McClintock Jr. '42, secretary.

The chairman announced that the executive committee, acting on behalf of the entire Association because time limitations did not permit the matter to be discussed at this meeting, had nominated John Faegre '33 to serve for a term of two years on the Alumni Council. He also read a telegram from the Secretary of the College advising that John, being the sole nominee, had been elected.

John Faegre reported that the members of the Association had contributed sufficient money to permit the addition of $1,000 to the capital of the Vaughn Fund at the meeting and he turned over a check of that amount to Justin Stanley. He reported that the principal of the fund now amounted to over $15,000, that there had been an aggregate increase of over $2500 during the past year and that there were presently 166 members of the alumni contributing to the fund.

Lyman Wakefield '33 introduced his classmate Justin Stanley, the Vice President of the College. Justin then spoke to us about the present situation at the College, his new position there, and numerous other matters of interest to the alumni.
