On the evening of October 24 a small bat enthusiastic group of '07 men attended a preDartmouth-Harvard game dinner at the University Club in Boston. Those present were: Bartlett, Coburn, Cochrane, Kitching,McLane, Pierce, Sanborn, Smart, Ashley,Stevens, Niles and Dick Lane.

Sam Bartlett came over from New York for the Class Dinner and the game but an unfortunate and serious accident made him miss the game. Leaving the University Club on Saturday morning, Sam fell and was badly hurt. He returned to New York for examination and treatment and found that he had a severe fracture of the hip. An operation followed promptly and it is expected that his recovery will be complete and no permanent disability will result. Tim Richards was operated on in the Rhode Island Hospital in mid-October. He writes, .. after which I hope to live to be a hundred."

Arthur W. Taylor, who has been a teacher in Beverly, Mass., retired on January 1, 1952.

-Hobbs Knight is building himself a home in Ogunquit, Me. anticipating his retirement from his educational profession.

Ralph Perkins' younger son graduated from Babson Institute of Business Administration last June.

Dr. Charles G. McKendree, son of our Dr.Charles A., is practicing in Greenwich, Conn. Charles' daughter Jane, now Mrs. Ayers, lives in nearby Riverside.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Farrington of Waterbury were September visitors in Hanover.

Mrs. Harry Romayne, Mrs. Ivan Greenwood, Mrs. Parker Tabor, Mrs. Jonathan Piper, Mrs. Harry Heneage, Mrs. Willard Cummings, Mrs. C. Henry Hathaway and Mrs. Samuel L. Barnes are enthusiastic subscribers to the AI.UMNI MAGAZINE. They wish to follow the fortunes of the Class and the College to which their husbands were so devoted.

Sarah Jane, daughter of Park and Mrs.Tabor, was valedictorian of her class at Pittsburg (N. H.) High School, from which she graduated last June. She is now a student nurse at the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover; a very attractive young lady.
