The April meeting of the Long Island executive committee got under way on the installment plan. Ten members arrived at EdWarnke's home in Lynbrook at the usual starting time but the meeting lacked a quorum because so many members of the Association were attending the New York Alumni Fund dinner for class agents and assistants. Our Club's usual order of business was placed in reverse. After a brief discussion of items on the agenda, the group adjourned to the dining room for refreshments. They were interrupted several hours later by the arrival of the missing contingent from New York.

Al Marks '34 had driven into the city for the alumni dinner. When that meeting broke up he rounded up a car full of Long Island commuters and made a fast run to Lynbrook to insure a quorum.

The immediate order of business was to stimulate the sale of tickets for the Glee Club concert which will be a thing of the past by the time these notes appear in print. It appears that the sale of ads for the program will make possible a generous contribution to the scholarship fund.

The next social event we are looking forward to is a family party at the Broadlawn Harbor Yacht Club in Kings Point, L. I., on June 21.
