Dr. Gerould was ill this summer, but has recovered and has resumed his research on marine life. My son, Robert F. '23, while in Hanover for the Dartmouth-Colgate game met Gerould and had a very pleasant talk with him. He seemed to have completely recovered from his indisposition.
I talked with Rowe via telephone and he said he was well and had enough "wim and wigor" to attend the Dartmouth-Harvard game. He frequently walks a mile or two for exercise. Rowe was a long-distance runner while in college and keeps himself in training with the dumbells.
As I have heard nothing from the otherfive members and have seen no obituaries nor notices of indiscretions, I assume that they are all enjoying the "status quo" to which they are entitled. Only I wish some of them would write and tell the other members what their "status" is.
