The Big Green eleven wound up its 1953 season with a decisive 34-12 victory over Princeton at Palmer Stadium, November 21. With Bill Beagle handicapped by a bad shoulder, sophomore Quarterback Leo McKenna ran the team in fine fashion, scoring two touchdowns himself, passing to Anderson for another, kicking four points after, and throwing several important passes in the touchdown marches. After Princeton's early 12-7 lead, Dartmouth completely dominated the game and won with unexpected ease.
