Slim pickins this month! The biggest class news is the reelection of Dave Weber as a charter trustee of the College. His new term will again be five years. Incidentally, Dave will be on a '64-'65-'66 reunion panel which will discuss the involvement of ,young alumni in Trustee and Alumni Council affairs.

Tucky Mays sends news that he and LuAnne are happily transplanted in San Francisco - Tiburon, to be exact. He is the new marketing manager for the consumer products division of Cutter Labs, Inc. (Berkeley, Calif.).

The dearth of '65 news causes me to squeeze my own name into the column this month. I have accepted appointment as an Associate Dean of Students at Exeter. My responsibilities will include supervision of all scholarship students and assisting in college placement, and will begin on July 1.

The cover story of the January 27 issue of New York magazine, "Wall Street Refugees," featured Mike Phillips, now $3-4 million richer as a result of the success of The Sting. According to the story Mike's initial investment in the screenplay was $1,500 - he now lives in a $200,000 four-bedroom shack in Beverly Hills.

In the "it's a small world" category, PeterJordan and Jim Fosso have turned up as neighbors in Franklin, Tenn. Peter is an assistant professor of English at The University of Tennessee - Nashville. Don't know what Jim is up to.

Al Zern who, by virtue of his last initial, invariably ends up fourth to last in a 1965 listing, at least has advanced to the fore in his listing at Morgan Stanley, investment banking firm. He has been made a partner. Al joined the firm in 1966, shortly after graduation from Tuck, and became a vice president in January of 1973, concentrating his activities in the corporate finance department. The Zerns live in Larchmont at 4 Acorn Lane.

No sooner had the ink dried on last month's column than Bill Affolter landed on the Mahoneys' doorstep, fresh from a sabbatical in the Vermont woods. He is now back in Seattle as a G.P. with a large medical consortium. His tales of life in the Public Health Service in Alaska are spectacular.

Congratulations are in order to Jim and KatieScott on the arrival of Meredith, their first child. Rumor has it that Scotty is disenchanted with the youngster's nocturnal habits— how quickly he has forgotten a similar attitude on the part of the campus police to some of his night time escapades.

News is scarce, please write!

Happy days and peace!
