Plans for Dartmouth activities in Wisconsin for the coming year are well underway, and this year should see even more of a program than in the past.

Dartmouth activities in Wisconsin were at an all-time high in the year just completed and plans for 1955-56 show that an even more ambitious program is under way. Dean Up-gren of the Tuck School spoke to alumni, prospective undergraduates and their fathers at an evening meeting at the University Club on April 29. His talk was completely appropriate for the prospective '59s, particularly because they had just to wait out the weekend for their acceptances to Dartmouth.

Speaking of the Class of '59, the enrollment committee is very reluctant to count chickens as of this writing but it can be said that 29 men have been accepted from Wisconsin compared to three last year. How many will go to Dartmouth this fall will be reported in a later issue, but the progress of the enrollment committee is evident from the above figures.

Saturday, August 13, is the date of the picnic, again to be at the home of Bob Ott 43 on Pine lake near Nashotah. This is about thirty miles west of Milwaukee, to make it easier for alumni from Madison, Janesville, and other towns in the state.

Dartmouth Night is June 29 - at the Milwaukee County stadium to see the Braves; and a dinner at the Wisconsin Club which will precede the event.
