At the opening of the 93rd season of the Central Church of Chicago on Sunday, September 10, a nation wide boycott of "vulgar," "cute" and irreligious Christmas cards was urged by Nathaniel Leverone.
Oliver Cromwell's daughter, Adelaide, was one of seven Americans recently decorated by the government of the Ivory Coast for her contribution on African art and culture.
1906 had a new contributor to its 1967 Alumni Fund. She was Virginia Tozier. daughter of Alphonso Tarr. Her husband was graduated from Dartmouth in the Class of 1933. Virginia has attended the Alumni College for the last two summers and says that she enjoyed them very much. Was sorry that there was no 1906 member present.
Our Class held its annual pre-Harvard lunch at the Algonquin Club, Boston, on Friday, October 27. A report of those who attended and what was accomplished will appear in next month's MAGAZINE.
