The annual pre-Harvard dinner in Boston was a great success as to quality but the quantity was lacking. It was the smallest number we have ever had, only 22 and one guest. So we were very glad to have the 1905 group celebrating with us.

For the first time, for as far back as I can remember, we were minus our white carnation boutonnieres. Harvey Whittemore was taken ill the morning of the dinner and could not make it. Other faithful attendants were missing for the first time also: Joe Nuelle,Shorty Davis, Henry Thrall and Dave Main.

Walt Powers presided at the dinner so the program was conducted according to parliamentary procedure. Lawrence Whittemore regaled us with his tall stories; Charlie Luck, who was present for the first time, told us of his wanderings; our president read a very interesting letter about Pitcher Glaze, written by his wife, and also told some stories about Chief Tortes; Herb Rainie confessed how he became leader of the band; and Nat Leverone reported on his visits with Tubby. Laton, GusAyers and Harry Higman.

Royal Parkinson, Halsey Loder and SliverHatch spoke for the Class of 1905. Following is the list of those present: Chapin, Cheney,Connell, Cooke, Denison, Dwyer, Frazier,Charlie French, Ned French, Gage, Leverone,Luck, Neal, Powers, Rainie, Redman, Rugg,Russell, Wallace, Wardwell, Webster and Lawrence Whittemore.

Edna and Mike Edgerton report the arrival of Malcolm James Edgerton 111, the last of October.

Morton L., son of our Steve Cushing, was admitted to the Vermont Bar in October.. ..

Dan Hatch was recently elected vice-president and a director of Siscoe Vermiculite Mines, Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siscoe Gold Mines, Ltd Harold Rugg was a representative of the College at the Daniel Webster memorial exercises in Marshfield, Mass., on October 24.

The 1905-06 New York dinner will take place at the Dartmouth Club, Friday, December 12.
