Dick Lijipman and his hearty band of assistant class agents report that the Alumni Fund campaign is really picking up steam. Although the drive is more than half over they're not turning anyone down or sending any checks back, so step right up.
Lipp sends word that Bob and CarolmaeEncherman have a new baby, William Roger, to go with daughter Susan. Debby and Dick had a get-together with Don and Dotlie Gates in Atlantic City where Don is stationed at the Naval Air Base.
Paul Costello deserves an award of some kind for getting the greatest amount of news in the smallest space. His card reads like a page from the society section of the AmericanMedical Journal I'm sure there must be one. Stu Finch is a hematologist in Boston now, but is soon to move to New Haven. Bob Wilson is a pediatrician in the Navy and stationed in Germany. (I wonder if I am deciphering P. J's handwriting properly.) Another doctor going through his paces in Germany is Capt."Jocko" Chandler of the U.S. Army. Dr. HankWoodworth is also back in the service. TonySusen is slated to move to Manchester, N. H., from Boston to do neurosurgery. Paul is in pediatrics in Manchester.

Attention all ye would-be skiers! It can happen to the best of them. As it must to all skiers, broken bones have come to Jack Tobin. After 18 years of skiing yet. As I understand it, it was all because of some woman driv ah, rather skier, who didn't put out her hand before making a left turn. Jack was well on his way to celebrating severing connections with John Wanamaker when he wound up spending 17 days in the hospital in of all places Hanover, N. H.
As we mentioned last month Jack is one of the prime movers behind the Bill Remsen Memorial Fund, the purpose of which is to continuously pay the tuition of one boy at Dartmouth. Checks should be made out to "Trustees of Dartmouth College" with "Bill Remsen Memorial Fund" written in the corner of each. Include your address to enable the College to send receipts and send the checks to Jim Elleman (James D. '43, that is), Chemical Bank and Trust Co., 165 Broadway, New York, N. Y.
Bill Lowenthal writes to announce the birth of his first son Peter Stern, who joins sister Sidney in the Lowenthal household. Speaking of gears, I heard that GardieBridge is still taking bows after his wife Pat was named "Best Actress" in the interfraternity play contest in Hanover.
Charlie Sturz is still a bit shell-shocked from the deluge of reunion bills which have descended on the class treasury in the past months. Let's hope that come 1958, the big fifteenth will be different. How is this "pay as you go" thing supposed to work anyhow?
While we are on the subject of offspring, here's a real family in the making. Irenee andBarbara Batchelder Dupont Jr. now have about four children, I think. The latest addition is Sally Carpenter.

Bill Gray, complete with one offspring of about 16 months standing, is hustling insurance in New York City and reports that LloydEmslie is holding forth in Dover, Del., where he works for the International Latex Corpora- tion.
Ted and Caroline Schoonbeck had young Freddie down in Palm Beach for a while this past winter. Rumor has it that Ted had Fred, who is pushing two years, shagging golf balls on the beach. I just hope Freddie can putt better than his old man.
Kent Barclay is practically a neighbor of mine (lucky boy!). He can be excused for extolling the virtues of matrimony, I guess, since he has been married just since January.
By the way, did you know that Dr. JimO'Shea now is living in Andover, Mass? That Ed Newman is librarian and supervisor of technical processes at the Sullivan Memorial Library at Temple University? Charlie Gibbons is a hydraulic and sanitary engineer in New York City?
Say, how about sending me some photographs we can use to add a little something to this usual monthly claptrap? Make sure you are in the picture just to make it legal. And don't forget hard-hittin' Dick Lippman and his cohorts striving mightily for the Alumni Fund.
