It is expected that each guy will do his part this year. Give these chaps a break ... and get your contributions in early!

I haven't seen John Eaton's Newsletter yet, but understand it's a dandy and that the ol' Blue is quite a rogue with a turned phrase.

Ran into Jim Dammann at a National Industrial Conference Board meeting here in Cincy the other day. He's looking great, and reports that he, Babs, and little Jill are now safely settled in Scarsdale. Jim's assistant to the sales manager of American Safety Razor. ... John Handwerg was recently appointed committeeman on the governing board of River Vale, N. J. Always active in local affairs, John had a hand in the construction of the Country Club of New Jersey in R.V. and has served as its manager for several years.

From D.C. comes word that George Ives has been appointed administrative assistant to his father, Sen. Irving S. Ives, Republican, of New York. George is now down on Capitol Hill with his wife and 3-year-old daughter Elizabeth. After graduating from Cornell Law in '49, George served for a year as an attorney on the personal staff of Paul M. Herzog, chairman of the National Labor Relations Board. Since that time he has been associated with a NYC law firm.

Capt. Adolph Schwenk, commanding Charlie Co. of the 7th Marine Regt., Ist Div. in Korea, was featured in an INS interview by Robert Elegent recently. Adie's wife and two sons, Jim and Bob, are living in Yonkers. ... Ja Densmore was elected president of the Lebanon, N. H., Chamber of Commerce for the ensuing year; oughta know how to bring in the Dartmouth dollar. The Hanover Inn occasionally sends me registration cards of '44s who happen to blow into town.... I was interested to see that hockey coaches JackRiley and Dick Rondeau got up to Hanover with their respective charges within a week of one another. I don't know exactly how the Big Green made out those days... and only hope they do better than I suspect they did.

Fred Kennedy, I am happy to note, is out of the Marines and back at the National Shawmut Bank in Boston where he is an auditor.

... Tony Frothingham is spending the spring season in Paris where he is working with Kodak-Pathe.... Also going international on us is John Mullikan, who's now over in London with Time-Life.

In the fields of higher learning, MerleHagen is an Educational and Training specialist down in Norman, Okla.; Len Landry has left Colorado for a teaching position at Poison High in Poison, Mont, (that boy really gets out in the wilds), and Bob Tompa is teaching social science down at the resort town of Spring Lake, N. J.

Al Winkler is an insurance inspector for the Retail Credit Cos. up in Hartford.... Down in Astoria, L. 1., Jay McMullen is writing for the Army Photographic Center, makes his home in the asphalt jungle.... Ches Harris is engineering in Beakton, Va., and for what appears to be a very good reason, John Lewis is now living in Coral Gables, Fla.

I can't recall whether I've mentioned that Dr. George Kent has his railroad tracks, and is sweating it out at the 3rd Army Lab. in Ft. McPherson, Ga. Bill Trier has of course been sprung from the Navy George should be along one of these days. Dr. Francis Riley is practicing neurosurgery at the New Haven Hospital.

Romantically... Jean Burkholder and BobBlair, both of Shaker Heights, Cleveland, announced plans for a May wedding. In the production department, we are pleased to report that the clan Donnelly enlarged its membership by one on January 30, when young John McNeil D. appeared upon the scene.

Aside from 66⅔% of our hockey line, Volney Croswell and Arnold Sanders got back up to Hanover last month.

Let's do a job on the Alumni Fund this year!
