Doesn't that sound good? Can you find any excuse to stay away? Remsen is way ahead on plans and it really looks like this is to be truly fantastic.

Along with all the rest, money is coming in nicely for the Bowler Memorial Plaque and has now reached the point where we can go ahead with definite plans. A few classes have not been heard from as yet, but we are way over the half-way mark. The comments accompanying the checks have been very pleasing. A bronze plaque with a facsimile of Doc Bowler, with appropriate legend, will be erected in the gymnasium during reunion week. It might well be tied in with the big Alumni Luncheon on Saturday.

The secretary was truly disappointed to find that Roscoe DeWitt had telephoned from Boston recently, but without our making contact. Although there has been considerable correspondence, I believe I have not seen Roscoe since 1914 and would have given a great deal to have been able to have talked with him and perhaps seen him. Incidentally, DeWitt and Green of Dallas, as well as JackBellinger from Tyler, recently attended the highly successful Southwestern Regional Conference in Dallas. These men have given generously of both their time and money to make Dartmouth even a stronger national college. I am only hoping that we will be able to see all of them at Hanover next June.

This will be the first February in about twelve years that I have not spent the 226 at the Inn, and I am going to miss it. I hope that some of you are there, as there always were before the days of Sno-bird. If you are, I know you will have a good time. It is a great place for a quiet rest, but in any case, we will all be together in June, we hope. In the meantime, best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
