In world record news, a small group of scientists at MIT's Center for Ultra Cold Atoms, including Tom Pasquini, just broke the record for the worlds lowest manmade temperature, by cooling sodium atoms to 500 picoKelvin. They are now featured in the GuinnessBook of World Records.

Cabray Haines is in a social sciences masters program at the University of Chicago, but she was still able to provide the following update: Charlotte Zukowski has started law school at Penn, Anne Mullins is in her third year at the University of Chicago and heading to New Orleans to clerk next year, and Jess Margolin is a 2L at Michigan. Catherine Kahl is at UVA in the school for architectural history, Whitney Hale is enjoying the suburban life in Princeton, Brook Cosby has just moved to N.Y.C. and is loving it despite the blackout she experienced the week after she moved, and Kate Christiaanse has the sweetest life in Telluride! Debbie Godsoe is still in Brooklyn and working to keep her Wall Street firm up and running, while Kate Ryan has left the finance world for the student life in Chicago! She's in journalism school at Northwestern.

Dan Becker talked to his old roommate Matt Hood recently, and found out that Matt is training to hang-glide from Anchorage, Alaska, to Minsk, Russia, in April when the winds are favorable. He would be only the third person in history to make this trip, and the first American! Good luck!

David Chamberlain was best man for Deerrun Jea's March 15 wedding in Phoenix. Deerrun met his bride, Maria, in N.Y.C. through church friends while studying at Columbia Law. On July 4 in Boston, Deerrun returned the favor and was Davids best man. David married Meredith Glenn, UGA '99, whom he also met in N.Y.C. via church friends. In attendance were many friends from Dartmouth. Among the Chamberlains, it was a Dartmouth reunion of sorts, as many of Dave's family members are Dartmouth alumni.

After living in Boston for a year, Jeremy Neill moved back to Tennessee in October of 2001, and in January of 2003 he was married on the beach in Jamaica to his wife, Kendy. When they returned to Tennessee, they held a wedding reception, attended by Sean and Jaime Byrnes, Joe Levine, Steve Magoun and Lauren Hickey. They're still living in Tennessee, but are considering a move back to Boston or New York sometime next year.

Jonathan Flynn and Carrie Dunsmore were married in September at the AQ Chapel. Tons of Dartmouth folk were there, including Beth Duncan, Rob Ristagno, Seth Hitchings, Erica Blachman, Monica Lo, Matt Benedetto, Spencer Jones, Lori McMullen, Morgan Faust and Conor Dugan.

Jamie Labell was engaged in August to Lee Rubin (Brandeis '00), to whom she was introduced by Emily Wasco. Rachel Fleming and Brian O'Connor, Ph.D.'03, are getting married this coming June in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They've recently moved to the Chapel Hill, North Carolina, area, where Rachel is starting a masters program at UNC in urban planning and Brian is a post-doc at the UNC Cancer Center. They're also enjoying the grits and bluegrass.

Andy Thompson was recently engaged to his kiwi girlfriend Juanita, while visiting her in Cambridge, England, this fall. The wedding will be in England this summer at Trinity College, where they met. Also, Amanda Venti and Brian McLain were engaged over the summer on the beach near Brians home in California. Both are living in Chicago; Amanda is in her third year of medical school at Loyola and Brian is working in venture capital.
