Our Navy game "Operation Indian" affair over, we in Baltimore felt we might readily take the rest of our Club calendar in easy stride.

However, we were soon very hard at work on our enrollment program, seeking out the best of Maryland's prep and high school people for Dartmouth's next freshman class. This very important assignment is captained by Joseph Young '46, and he and his committee already feel they have some splendid material for Hanover's notice.

In the midst of this stimulating interviewing work, we held our Christmas cocktail party; a huge success. Almost half our guests were Maryland undergraduates and dates, the remainder old guard and wives.

This week we were delighted to announce that Justin Stanley, Vice President of the College, had agreed to speak at our annual Ladies Night banquet, March 19, and preparations for the gala event have already been started. The affair will be held at our club rooms at the Blackstone Apts., Charles at 33rd Street, on Friday, March 19, at 6:30, and is certain to be a packed house event.
