The month of April still finds the Dartmouth Club of Georgia in the throes of last-minute work and efforts on recruiting men for the future of Dartmouth College. Although, actually, that is a slight overstatement, since as this bit goes to press, we are still in the early part of March. However, to get to the date of issue of this bit from the Sunny South, we've had winter long since, and have also enjoyed the camelias and azealeas and magnificent dogwoods that Atlanta is so famous for, and we're settling down for another good hot summer. Just can't help but bend back to the nostalgic thinking of the Hanover campus at this time, probably well decked with the old duck-boards to protect from the slush and snows of the past winter.
As far as social activities have gone in and among the Georgia group they have been at a standstill, what with many business endeavors and general survival to earn a "cotton-pickin'" dollar to feed and clothe our future Dartmouth men and maids. We've been placing all emphasis on the enrollment and enlistment campaign and hope we have selected a group of good ones for the coming year. Even the luncheon meetings have been at a standstill. But, we're always looking for any of you travelers who may happen to venture down this way. You can always give a phone call and we'll surprise you with the rapidity of our response.
