At this writing, for all practical purposes, we "Indians" from Georgia have not yet had the privilege of hearing our esteemed brethren from the Hanover Hills give their unsurpassed renditions of tunes so near and dear to all of us. Boy, that was really an outburst! ... but, it was most sincerely dedicated. We're all very excited about the coming of the Dartmouth Glee Club to sing at the Cherokee Country Club here in Atlanta on Friday evening, March 29, and we'll have the entire scoop for you about the doings in the May issue of the Alumni Magazine. Plans in general have been in progress, to date, and all matters are well in hand to give our visiting men a heap big helping of Southern Hospitality, and to give our guests the time of their lives listening to a terrific singing group.
Little of great incident has happened since our last report in the way of social maneuvers. However, let it be known that our Georgia President, Warren Agry '40, and lovely wife were pictured in a recent issue of the Atlanta Journal on the Society page, donned in ski clothing, complete with ski-rig, as they partook of a fine vacation up in the hills of Colorado on a ski slope. Recruiting activity has been in full swing, and interviews for prospective Dartmouth men should be furthered and completed very shortly now.
Dick Exton '29 informed me that he and lovely spouse, expect to lift stakes in Atlanta for a move to St. Petersburg, Fla. We'll miss you both, but let's hear from you occasionally anyway. Okay? Had a call from a new Dartmouth in Atlanta environs the other day, namely, Overton Chambers '53, residing at 4920 Blair Circle, Apt. #2, North Atlanta 19. Welcome to you and wife, good Sir.
This is a shorty this month, fellers, and rather than rant on about my Kerry Blue Terriers and Dune IV's Tropical Fish, I'll ease off now.
