An additional disbursement from the estate of John L. Murphy ("Red" to all of us) brings the total to a figure which is the largest bequest received by the College from a member of the class to date. Red was very loyal over the years even though his health did not allow him to attend many of our class gatherings. Incidentally, John McCrillis, our bequest chairman, is one who has been honored by being named Bequest Chairman of the Year.

Elizabeth Huntoon has moved into North Hill. She joins a continually growing list of Dartmouth people who live here. A nice letter from Alida Jewett tells of Jim's great love for the College. She says a book being given to the library in his name is especially pleasing because Jim once worked in the library.

Jim and Mary Davis are well. Their daughter, Polly, is moving to Northampton, Mass., where, among other things, she will finish writing another book.

Vicki Merrill has moved back to Hanover. This will cause her to be nearer her children and grandchildren. Had dinner with the Sandoes recently. They are well.
