In the 1905 game with Brown, Dave, as captain, was running the team. Brown was outpunting Dartmouth by a considerable distance so Dave deliberately took himself out of the game so Tubby Blathernick could go in and do the punting. The result, Dartmouth 24-Brown 6.
The last of March, Coriane and CharlieLuck, together with Abbie and Cap Pierce, planned to drive to La Jolla to visit with Corrine and Henry Thrall. Hope the smog wasn't so bad that they couldn't make it.
On Sunday, March 13, Noble Bowlby suffered a severe attack of angina, from which he never recovered. He was the oldest member of our Class and one of the most loyal. Jeannette writes that he had been failing for some time, but continued his work as pastor of the Salisbury Congregational Church.
Another of our classmates has left us. On March 27 Albert Cochran died in Andover, N. H., where he had lived his whole life.
