At this point we have had some very interesting reports on our interviewed prospects for Dartmouth. It is gratifying to see that our intensive campaigns were not wholly in vain. Now, in the end result, how many of the qualified men will select the finest opportunity ever proffered to them, the acceptance of Dartmouth College as their prized and prided future edifice of higher learning?

Just in case nothing has been done to clarify the whereabouts and whatabouts of another good '38er, one Bob Carson, it gave me a great deal of pleasure to lunch with the newly appointed executive vice president of the Carwood Manufacturing Company of Winder, Ga. Bob is very happy in his new work, and he'll be a real asset to the company that has long been known for its fine strong line of work clothes for the past 29 years. Bob resides in nearby Athens, Ga.

We Atlantans expect to hold some sort of a fine "outdoor—beer 'n' all party" before the month of May is out, reports of which will probably be appearing after the summer has passed. Socially speaking, we've been consistently shabby in activities for several months running now, but in the workaday life, both Dartmouth-wise and bread-and-butter-wise we've been hammering. We do, however, anticipate a resumption of our bi-weekly luncheons again with the onset of the fall season ... and more notes on individual accomplishments, doings and undoings of our local talent and alumni. Till next time, that's it, fellows!!
